Client Challenge: Design a new building to house all operations, including a micro-manufacturing facility; plan construction that is sensitive to sterile production environments and security; execute entire project in the most efficient, most cost-effective manner possible.
|
SVPA Solution: In addition to staging construction in a way than did not jeopardize the clean and secure production facilities, SVPA attained both cost savings and distinguished design using precast concrete with brick accents. The stormwater detention facility doubles as a small pond at the building’s front. This project won the Associated Builders and Contractors of Iowa 2001 Award of Excellence for Industrial Construction—$1 Million or Greater.
