First Federal Savings Bank of Iowa Clive Branch
First Federal Savings Bank of Iowa
Clive, Iowa
Client Challenge:
Create a new branch office that will meet residential neighborhood design covenants while maintaining its commercial bank identity.
SVPA Solution:
A new bank with a decidedly residential look, using roof lines and brick to complement the neighborhood.  Plantings and fencing screen the bank from the neighborhood to the south.
Sustainable Design Techinques:
First Federal Savings Bank and the SVPA team worked extensively with the neighborhood association to create a bank in keeping with the residential character of the neighborhood. The bank features a façade with residential style building materials and drive-through lanes that are placed in a more inconspicuous area. In addition, the site contains extensive plantings and walls to screen the bank from adjacent town homes.
