Client Challenge: Create a new aquatic center for this historic small town in Central Iowa.
|
SVPA Solution: The new swimming pool accommodates 598 patrons with 10,637 s.f. of surface area. Water features include three waterslides, one-meter springboard diving, water spray features, and other related items. The toddler slide uses for its inspiration the Covered Bridges of Madison County. Exterior materials for the bathhouse were chosen to reflect the historic nature of the other park buildings throughout the community.
