Client Challenge: Create an park master plan turning an old quarry into an outdoor recreation center.

SVPA Solution: The park includes baseball and softball diamonds and competition and practice soccer fields with associated parking. A skate park, dog park, picnic shelters with toilet facilities, sand volleyball, playgrounds, 18-hole disc golf course are also included. Two large fishing ponds with a bridge and dock are set in a lawn area which transitions to a pasture level of maintenance and then transitioning to a restored prairie area. Walking trails with loops of various lengths were added to unify all of the facilities and allow enjoyment of the entire park through walking.

Type of Delivery: Parts of the park are under construction by City of Earlham groups and volunteers. The City's goal is have the project complete by 2016.
