Embassy Club Renovation
Embassy Club
Des Moines, IA
Client Challenge:

The Embassy Club, one of Des Moines' premier dining establishments, occupies two floors of the 801 Grand Office building in downtown Des Moines. SVPA's commission was to arrange the two-floor restaurant layout to accommodate the restaurant's evolving service delivery, patron preferences, and to update interior finishes to maintain Embassy Club standards for dining elegance.

SVPA Solution:

Replacing the entry area carpet with tile flooring created a practical buffet area. Patrons expressed a preference for booths, which were elevated to allow all diners to continue to enjoy the spectacular view from the 40th and 41st floors of 801 Grand.  Overall finish updating created a new look for this dining establishment while maintaing the luxurious comfort for which the Embassy Club is famous.
