Client Challenge: Expand and reconfigure the existing 130,000 s.f. headquarters building to meet the long-range needs of this growing food, pharmacy, and convenience store chain.
SVPA Solution: Following an extensive programming process that studied the needs of the various departments and support services of the company, the team determined that a small addition and remodeling of the existing spaces would best meet Hy-Vee's needs. The addition complements the prairie style architecture of the original building while the reconfiguration increases efficiency and teamwork within the company.
