Client Challenge: Create a Class A office building for this company that administers pension plans for police officers and fire fighters in the State of Iowa. Finish the building program and design in four months.
SVPA Solution: SVPA worked closely with the Design/Builder, The Weitz Company, and MFPRSI staff to quickly determine current and future space needs. The 18,700 s.f. facility was designed to house MFPRSI offices as well as a ground floor tenant, a good investment. Housed in the West Lakes area of West Des Moines, the building's north side faces an existing pond. The second floor features an outdoor deck; and grade level has a patio with access to the walking path that surrounds the pond.
