Research & Development (Research & Development) Building
LGI (Lauridsen Group Inc.)
Challenge: Provide a building design for a Research & Development building to house four of LGI (The Lauridsen Group Inc.) companies: Proliant Health and Biologicals, APC, Proliant Meats and Proliant Dairy with individual laboratories.
SVPA Solution: The building shell was designed to blend with the existing adjacent corporate office building, using brick masonry and white metal panels. The project also included a pilot plant to test new products before moving into mass production. A meat laboratory and test kitchen was designed for current and prospective clients to use while taste testing products.
