Liberty High School
Iowa City Community School District
North Liberty, Iowa

Challenge: Provide master planning and design for a new high school and athletic complex in the Iowa City Community School District.

SVPA Solution: Working closely with the District, the City of North Liberty and its constituents, SVPA has master planned a three-phase project. Phase 1 is the construction of a new high school serving 1,000 students. Phase 2 will be the athletic complex and Phase 3 will be an addition to the high school to serve additional students. It is important to the District that the school and its facilities be available to community members for use; the design provides for community use while securing the non-public portions of the school.

Completion Date: July 2017 (Phase 1)

Project Size: 263,00 s.f. (Phase 1)
