Client Challenge: Provide a local presence to monitor construction of several projects in the Central Iowa Area.
SVPA Solution: The Deerfield Retirement Community is located just west of Des Moines. Buildings feature an English Country architectural style and include private accommodations for assisted living, and recuperative or skilled care in the Health Center; secure, underground parking for apartment home residents, attached garages for townhome residents; restaurant-style dining room; heated, indoor swimming pool; fitness center; library; internet-ready computer room; card, game and activity rooms; convenience store; café/deli shop; meeting rooms; beauty and barbershop; personal gardening areas and walking trails, etc. SVPA provided construction administration for an out-of-state architect to monitor compliance with construction documents. SVPA made regular visits to the construction site to review construction progress and work with the contractor to ensure successful completion of the project.
