Challenge: Design an information technology facility that meets Tier 3A requirements and will withstand an F3 tornado. The building achieved LEED® Platinum Certification.

SVPA Solution: The new information technology facility supports the academic/administrative and collegiate-hosted services, hospital computing (HCIS) and research computing. The main building material consists of precast concrete and meets LEED® criteria. In addition, high-efficiency mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems were provided for the facility.
