Washington High School
Washington Community School District
Washington, Iowa

Challenge: Provide master planning, architectural, structural, mechanical/electrical and site planning services for the construction of a new high school.

SVPA Solution: SVPA worked with the Washington Community School Distrct on the master planning and design for a new High School. After extensive meetings with school staff and the Washington Community, the need for a new high school was determined. The two-story addition of 90,700 s.f. connects to the existing 51,500 s.f. Junior High School. The project also included minor renovations to the existing building for conversion to High School use, and a Master Plan design for a future 700-seat auditorium.
