Our Solution
Located in the Prairie Trail Development, the design for this satellite fire station needed to fit the character and goals of the development and the emergency response needs of this urban area. This 12,260 s.f. fire station features three drive-through apparatus bays, living quarters, administrative spaces and associated support spaces. A combination of masonry, cast stone and aluminum store-front were selected to fit the community goals of the development, while expressing the civic nature of the facility. The end result is a distinctive fire station that will serve Ankeny citizens for many years to come.
