ITA Group Headquarters

ITA Group was looking to relocate from multiple buildings in the Regency West Office complex into a newly renovated Arcadia building in West Des Moines. The building had a much larger footprint, allowing their entire staff to be under one roof. SVPA worked with ITA Group and R & R Realty to transform the building and their office space into a modern, amenity rich, office environment where employees thrived. One of the key features added was an opening between floors in the ITA space to create a voluminous lobby and open stair for easy circulation between floors. The office space was designed to maximize the natural light and try and capture as much ceiling height as possible given existing conditions. SVPA also designed a conference and training center for them as well as a childcare center. One of the major challenges on this project was the timeline. The design team worked with the contractor in more of a collaborative process and accomplished design and construction for over 150,000 s.f in just over 10 months.
