SVPA Architects was asked to design a building for a joint venture between Lely USA and Vermeer Manufacturing on the Vermeer campus. The new building would need to both meet the standards for the European-based Lely and the Iowa-based Vermeer.

Our Solution
The new manufacturing/assembly building would have two primary functions: a pre-engineered metal building for manufacturing/assembly space and an office space to support the assembly and distribution operations. The office portion of the building incorporates the Lely “red” corporate color on both the interior and exterior. A glazed curtainwall and an interior glass wall flood the interior with natural light, creating an inviting and comfortable work environment.
