On With Life
This project consists of a new Outpatient Facility and a multi-unit Family Housing building for the On With Life (OWL) campus located in Ankeny, IA. OWL provides services to meet the challenge of rebuilding lives impacted by brain injury. They offer post-acute inpatient programs as well as specialized expertise in outpatient neurological services and brain injury rehabilitation.

Our Solution
The Outpatient Facility will be a single-story building that includes administrative/office space as well as outpatient care spaces, such as exam rooms, counseling rooms, therapy rooms, treatment rooms, vocational re-entry training rooms, gym spaces, a practice apartment and day program/training and research spaces. The Family Housing building will be a single-story standalone wood framed residential style building serving primarily as temporary housing for families with loved ones receiving treatment at On With Life. The building will include five housing suites with restrooms, a common space, a laundry room, and utility rooms. There will also be minor renovations to their existing Inpatient Building to provide some additional patient restrooms and improve the medical gas and vacuum systems.
