Northwest Bank

Client Challenge: Assist a bank headquartered in Northwest Iowa increase visibility and presence in the Central Iowa market.
SVPA Solution: A new 24,000 s.f. two story office building in the West Lakes development in West Des Moines. The bank is located on the first floor, and the second floor will be leased to tenants.
Sustainable Design Techinques: First Federal Savings Bank and the SVPA team worked extensively with the neighborhood association to create a bank in keeping with the residential character of the neighborhood. The bank features a façade with residential style building materials and drive-through lanes that are placed in a more inconspicuous area. In addition, the site contains extensive plantings and walls to screen the bank from adjacent town homes.
