On June 28, 2018 in West Des Moines, Wolfe Eye Clinic had a groundbreaking ceremony for their new 25,000 s.f. medical facility on the remaining portion of their lot at 6200 Westown Parkway. This new facility will be the largest ophthalmologic specific ambulatory surgery center in the state of Iowa. Once complete, the new building will serve as the sole home of Wolfe Surgery Center, which currently occupies a suite in the existing West Des Moines location that opened in 2004. By dedicating a new building to Wolfe Surgery Center patients and staff, it will allow for the addition of new doctors and a redesign within the current building.
SVPA Architects is proud to be a part of the planning and design team for the new Wolfe Surgery Center in West Des Moines. Our history with Wolfe Eye Clinic goes back to 2003 when we designed their current medical office building in West Des Moines. Over the past 15 years, we have been involved with several projects for this wonderful client. This new facility will be the largest state-of-the-art ophthalmologic ambulatory surgery center in Iowa.
