To support the long-term needs of the Oskaloosa community, SVPA was selected to design a new Early Childhood Education & Recreation Center for the City of Oskaloosa in partnership with the Oskaloosa Community School District and the Mahaska County YMCA.

Our Solution
The building will contain YMCA programs including: a gymnasium, natatorium, locker rooms, community rooms, and fitness studios and wellness areas on the second floor. The facility will also house early childhood programs. The YMCA will operate a daycare wing serving infants to four-year-olds and operate 11 preschool classrooms on behalf of the school district.
