Rain and Hail

When Rain and Hail outgrew its leased space, they turned to SVPA Architects and Mid-America Group. SVPA was challenged to design a building to meet Rain and Hail’s specific requirements for interior uses and functions; provide Mid-America Group with a building of high quality and lasting value; and deliver an economically feasible asset for the developers’ portfolio within a narrow timeframe.

Our Solution

After analyzing Rain and Hail’s current and future space needs, SVPA designed a distinctive office building to anchor Mid-America Group’s Northpark Business Park development. The design reflects the insurance company’s strength and stability and incorporates three distinct, but connected buildings. These facilities house a three-story open office, a two-story reception/board room rotunda and a single-story training center with food service. The exterior has white metal panels and limestone precast. Energy-efficient windows, storefront and curtainwall with skylighted circulation spline were also incorporated.
